When a devastating winter storm slams into North Carolina with the lowest recorded temperatures in history, the whole state starts to freeze over. The spread of the freeze continues to grow taken more and more villages, towns and cities down with it and America is now in the grip of a major disaster. As temperatures turn even colder, climatologists and disaster relief experts race to save lives and stop the storm before it freezes the entire East Coast and America stands on the edge of an icy abyss.
