Founded in 2004 by Managing Partners Jérôme Reygner-Kalfon and Sébastien Semon, ACE Entertainment finances, produces, handles worldwide sales and international distribution for film and television projects across all platforms. With a catalogue of over 200 projects, the company is part of the SJ Investments Group with offices in Paris, London and Los Angeles.
ACE has produced 12 movies, in 3 years across Kids & Family, Mystery and Thrillers, with a slate that includes:
The Adventures of Jurassic Pet, The Adventure of A.R.I., Adventures of Rufus, Joey & Ella, C.I.Ape, Ghoster, Guardians of Time, all of which were released by Lionsgate in North America under their multi-year partnership.
In addition, ACE has successfully distributed in France John and The Hole starring Taissa Farmiga and Michael C. Hall; Catch the Fair One; and The Last Son starring Heather Graham and Sam Worthington, which premiered at the Deauville Film Festival.
ACE Entertainment acquires rights for international distribution, and in June 2021 set a distribution deal with Saban Films where they will release in France 4 films in 2022 and 12 films per year from 2023, following Old Henry, which just premiered at the Venice Film Festival. Other successful releases have included: Bart Layton’s American Animals starring Evan Peters and Barry Keoghan; The Peanut Butter Falcon with Dakota Johnson; and The Professor and the Madman starring Sean Penn.
