Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer, whose 1981 wedding captivated the world, separated in 1992, finalizing their divorce in 1996. Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, married in 1986, divorced a decade later in 1996. Princess Anne’s divorce from Captain Mark Phillips, her first husband, was finalized in the same year.
