Princess Diana’s brief romance with Dodi Al-Fayed in the summer of 1997 remains shrouded in mystery. After her separation from Prince Charles, Diana was searching for new love and companionship. She met Dodi in 1986, but their relationship blossomed only after they spent time together aboard Mohamed Al-Fayed’s yacht in St. Tropez. Whether Diana was genuinely in love with Dodi or using the relationship to make her former lover, Hasnat Khan, jealous, remains uncertain. Tragically, both Diana and Dodi were killed in a car crash in Paris on August 31, 1997, leaving the true nature of their relationship unresolved.
