Movie Info Sheet

What the world saw as a fairytale romance, the marriage of Princess Diana and Prince Charles, was filled with rivalry, distrust, and loneliness. Diana, thrust into royal life at a young age, found herself isolated by her husband’s ongoing affair with Camilla Parker Bowles. Her relationship with her own family, especially her sister Sarah, was also strained. Despite these personal battles, Diana became the “People’s Princess,” adored for her charity work and empathy. However, her marriage was far from the fairy tale it appeared to be. Struggling with emotional pain and lack of support, Diana and Charles separated in 1992 and divorced in 1996, leaving behind a legacy of public adoration and personal conflict.
